I, Stefani Trang (Puccalicious) Negoon have accepted my first baking project from my two friends Hector and Ana who have finally decided to tie the knot. (wooo hoooo!)
I am so happy for them and I’m honored to receive the chance to really get creative and use my imagination to come up with crazy flavors and textures. Not to mention, a real excuse to master those piping skills. Every other week, I’ll whip up some delicious cupcakes for tasting that will be agreeable to both person’s tastes. At the end of tasting, they’ll have a score sheet rating tastes, texture, and presentation (hey I need a rubric system to keep me in line).
So in the next year or so, this blog will be filled with baking adventures, most of which procured from trial and error.
Last week I sat the couple down and started down a list of fruits, nuts, other ingredients to see what flavors and textures I could work with. It was tricky because one preferred mango and the other one was partial to blueberries, when one liked dark chocolate, the other liked milk chocolate only. In short, here’s what I got:
- cream cheese
- white chocolate
In short, someone please hand me my lab coat and goggles because it’s going to get a little cupcake crazy!
